Your issue isn’t money, discipline, or effort ... [🐝U]

Most business owners genuinely believe their results depend on skills, timing, or how much they “know.”

Yes, skills matter
But they’re rarely the deciding factor between your success or “failure”.

If you’ve ever wondered why you work your backside off, are learning nonstop, & still don’t see the traction you expected…
You probably already have an idea of this truth.

Your Skills Don’t Create Success

Two people can sit in the same workshop, learn the exact same thing…
1 skyrockets.
The other faceplants & finds another workshop to attend.

Same tools.
Same notes.
Same opportunity.

This pattern is so universal, it’s literally been used as the backbone of some of the most persuasive marketing in history …
& it generated Billions (yes, with a B)

You can read the Wall Street Journal’s “A Tale of 2 Men” sales letter here

I reposted an Alex Hormozi LinkedIn post about it & started talking about it.
& there was great feedback in my DMs
But there’s more to it …
because it’s easy enough to say:
→ show up
→ learn
→ apply
→ repeatedly
→ consistently

You’ve probably realized it’s not that easy to do.

You’d have launched that offer you keep tinkering with.
You’d have finally hit publish instead of rewriting chapter 1 again … & again
You’d have shown up for the workouts you keep scheduling…then snoozing.

This isn’t laziness.
It’s not a motivation problem either.
It’s the old wiring that was installed looong before you even knew you ever had a say in building materials
It runs things quietly …
& it just keeps short-circuiting until you fix it (or it burns the business down)

The truth is …
Your subconscious blueprint determines the ceiling on what you can receive, keep, or grow.

& if that’s a little too woo-woo for you …
Old programming is like driving with the parking brake on …
You only realize how much effort it took once you release it.

Your Old Thinking Got You Here …

But it’s not going to take you where you want to go

Your current results (financial, fitness, business, etc) aren’t random.
They’re a result of the thinking that got normalized in your life up to this point.

If you want to operate at a higher level, you don’t just pick up better habits.
You also have to retire the outdated beliefs running your decisions.

This isn’t about working harder
It’s about thinking differently.

We live in a world of duality:
→ Up & down
→ Light & dark
→ Fast & slow

You can’t have 1 without the other.

Your business is no different … there’s the outer world & an inner one.
Most people obsess over the outer one.

That means there are outer laws of money (business knowledge, money management, investment & saving strategies)…
& some inner laws too!

You can stack strategy by decorating your business on top of broken wiring all day long …
But it’ll still short-circuit… & eventually burn down.
Strategy can’t outrun identity.
Ever.

The Outer Game vs. The Inner Game

Yes, the outer game matters:
→ Marketing
→ Money management
→ Offers, funnels, & pricing

But the inner game is where most people silently lose:
→ Who you think you are
→ What you believe you deserve
Your default traits & habits
→ Your confidence & trust in yourself
→ Your relationship with money
(Yes, you can have a relationship with money even if you don’t have any!)

& all those unspoken rules you picked up in childhood that are pulling you down in a way that’s worse than having crabs
& way harder to treat.

““It’s not enough to be in the right place at the right time.
You have to be the right person in the right place at the right time.”

T. Harv Eker

Chances are, you've already had opportunities
You just didn’t feel ready, worthy, or confident enough to capitalize on them.
That's not a skill issue.
That's a blueprint issue.

Before I babble on, check out this story I yanked (word for word) from the book from Secrets of a Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker (page 14 has a few similar learning lessons you may want to “check out” at the library or buy a copy to go tab-crazy like I did)

It’s the perfect visual for how most solopreneurs (yes, even seasoned ones) try to “fix” our business…
& why it keeps snapping back to the same results.

For example, let’s supposed you’ve just written a letter on your computer.
You hit the print key and the letter comes out of your printer.
You look at your hard copy, and lo and behold, you find a typo.

So you take out your trusty eraser and rub out the typo.

Then you hit print again and out comes the same typo.

Oh my gosh, how could this be? You just erased it.

So this time you might get a bigger eraser and even rub harder and longer.
You even have a 300-page manual called Effective Erasing.

Now you’ve got all the “tools” and knowledge you need.
You’re ready.

You hit print and there it is again!

“Now Way!” you cry out, stunned in amazement.
“How could this be? What’s going on here? ?”

What’s going on is that the real problem can’t be changed in the “printout”, the physical world; it can only be changed in the “program”, the mental, emotional, and spiritual worlds.

Money is a result
Wealth is a result
Health is a result
Illness is a result
Your weight is a result

We live in a world of cause and effect

A lack of money is never, ever, ever a problem.

A lack of money is merely a symptom of what’s going on underneath.
Lack of money is the effect, but what is the root cause?

It boils down to this.

The only way to change your “outer” world is to first change your “inner” world.

The Four Realms That Create Your Results

In Secrets of a Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker, he lists 4 realms in our world:
1 - Mental
2 - Emotional
3 - Spiritual / Values-driven
4 - Physical

The physical realm … that’s where the money in your account, the clients you attract, the opportunities you see … is the “printout” for the 1st 3

This isn’t “The Secret” woo-woo manifestation.
“I think therefore I am” doesn’t apply here

You can’t just wiggle your nose or think it to make things happen

That’s not how this works.
What you focus your energy and time on is what stands out (& what you attract)

For example, when you bump into someone & they ask, “how are you?”
What’s your response?
→ Do you start going on about all the negative things in your life & the challenges?
→ Or do you look at the good & share the opportunities?

Results are the effects, NOT the causes

This is where most people get frustrated.

It’s easy to try to fix the symptom (money, sales, inconsistency)…
instead of the program creating those symptoms.

Everything is a result:
→ Money
→ Wealth
→ Health
→ Overwhelm
→ Burnout
→ Undercharging
→ Procrastination

… even the never-ending learning & never doing cycle because you’re “not ready” or you supposedly “tried” but it didn’t work (aka you paid for it but didn’t show up, learn, apply, repeatedly or consistently)

Your outer world is just a mirror showing you what’s happening internally.

So how do you start fixing things?

Affirmations? Fuggetaboutit!

Affirmations fall apart because the moment you say, “I am wealthy,” your brain fires back…
“Girl, we literally overdrafted last week.”

If affirmations worked, you’d already be rich, calm, & thriving.

Declarations different.
Declarations don’t poke that bruise.
They tell the truth about what you’re choosing next.

& they actually work because they:
→ Announce your intention
→ Don’t require you to pretend
→ Bring energy & action together
→ Shift identity through repetition & behavior

Again, we’re not talking about magical manifestation.
This is focus → action → reinforcement.

Where your blueprints formed

Your internal settings all came from 3 sources:
1 - Verbal Conditioning - What you heard growing up
2 - Modeling - What you watched the adults around you do
3 - Specific Incidents - What you experienced firsthand

Most of your beliefs (including money, self-worth, etc) weren’t chosen, & you’re not “hard-wired” to suffer that fate…

You absorbed them all growing up.

None of this is about blame … it’s about awareness.
You can’t rewrite a script you don’t realize you’re still reading from.

The 4 elements of real change

Rewiring doesn’t happen with a single journal prompt or a 2-hour workshop.
It happens through:
1 - Awareness
2 - Understanding
3 - Disassociation
4 - Reconditioning

This isn’t a light switch.
It’s not an on-off option.
It’s a rhythm.
Some days click.
Some don’t.
But these elements, with consistency reshapes (& reconditions) your blueprint.

This is the part solopreneurs secretly hate hearing:
You probably already have enough outer tools to succeed.

A new course won’t override an old identity
any more than a gym membership builds muscle.

Resetting your business thermostat

Think of your freelancing success like a thermostat.

You can temporarily turn up the heat with a launch, workshop, or surge of effort…
But your internal “set point” will always drag you back to the temperature you’re programmed for.

To permanently change your results, you have to reset the thermostat …
not just heat the room for a minute.

I’m STILL without solar.
That means no consistent power & no heat.
I set an alarm to turn on the generator to get some heat in the trailer.
I watch the temp rise while also watching the fuel guage
Then I turn it off

Guess what happens…
The cold outside sucks the heat out & drops my temperature while I take a power nap

Wake up an hour later to do it all over again.
pesky temp keeps dropping inside the trailer.

Turning on the generator helps but it doesn’t solve the problem

Know what’s going to fix that?
consistent power (& heat)

Know what else having consistent power (& heat) means?
I get to raise the thermostat so it’s not “just enough”

Cranking the generator gives me warmth
But not long-term comfort & safety.

That’s the point…
Most of us are warming the room, not fixing the power source.

Let’s Talk About YOUR Blueprint

Your blueprint was shaped long before you were aware of it.
But now that you are aware… you get to rewrite it.

Hit reply & share answers to these 3 questions:
1 - Verbal Conditioning: What did you hear about money growing up?
2 - Modeling: What did you see the people around you doing with money?
3 - Specific Incidents: What experiences shaped how you feel about wealth, risk, or success?

I’d love to hear about your discovery.
No judgment. Just clarity … the kind that frees you up for the next chapter of your results.

Make it a great “ re-wired “ week!
