Ur biz is a puzzle that's missing pieces ... [šŸU]

In partnership with

Most people don’t fail in business because they’re missing pieces.
They fail because they never saw what they already had & how it all fit together.

Imagine working on a puzzle with all the pieces upside down & no photo on the box

We’re not talking about the kids puzzles, where it’s 2, 4, or maybe 8 pieces…
You’ve got hundreds, even thousands of pieces in front of you.

Seems difficult, doesn’t it?
Even if you loooove puzzles & thrive on challenges.

How we’re taught to solve problems

Literally the 1st thing we’re taught is to spread out all the pieces image-side up
(so we can see what we have)

Then we put the box cover to the side
(so we know how things are supposed to look)

Then – usually – you find the border pieces
1 section at a time by separating the pieces that look alike.
After all, you’re not going to fit a bright blue piece into the area with a green grassy trail.

Once you have the border, then you work your way in…

You learn strategy & how to apply it
You start small
You work your way up to more pieces & harder images.

Now imagine ignoring all of that…

Because that’s exactly what too many of us do when starting a business.

We don’t look at everything we already have in terms of skills & experience
(your puzzle pieces)

& there’s no clear idea of what the end goal is
(your image on the box)

& we don’t have a strategy or plan to reach our business goals
(border then by color)

Now multiply the chaos

To make matters worse, we’re not working with just the pieces for 1 puzzle…

Because we feel we have to know ā€œeverythingā€ we keep trying to add more pieces
(through programs, books, masterminds)

If you thought working on 1 puzzle with pieces flipped under with no image to reference was hard…
Imagine the sheer impossibility of having multiple puzzle pieces all mixed in together.

That’s the trap I fell into early on.
I was constantly learning … courses, certifications, books, masterminds, gear…
Convinced that once I had just 1 more ___, things would all finally click.

All that actually gave me was more ā€œstuffā€ with less clarity & confidence
I wasn’t stuck because I lacked capability
It was because I couldn’t see what I already had or how to make any of it fit together.

That’s usually where I meet clients when they first reach out…
→ Taking all the programs before they feel ready to get started
→ Trying really hard to make all the pieces fit … even if it’s not for the puzzle

... Without having a clear vision of what the goal looks like

That’s where Nikki was when I 1st met her.
January 24th 2025 … less than a year ago.
She told me she was working on her business every single day after dinner, staring at the screen, exhausted, wondering why it still felt so unclear.
It wasn’t just overwhelming.
It made her question if she was cut out for this at all.

That’s the really dangerous part …
Confusion doesn’t just slow you down.
It slowly convinces you that you’re the problem.

Nothing was wrong with her effort or ability.
What was missing was someone helping her see what she already had, name what actually mattered, & define what this business was supposed to look like
… without adding more

Where the advice breaks down

Tony Robbins says success is 80% psychology & 20% tactics
Sometimes the quote is 20% mechanics, or 20% skills

Either way, I disagree.

& this is where I think that advice quietly wrecks a lot of smart, motivated people.

We think we’re doing mindset work but it’s just dumping more random pieces onto the table … without ever stopping to sort them or know which puzzle we’re even building.

Lots of learning, lots of motion
& then wondering why months go by with nothing real to show for it.

It is 80% mindset, no question
But the other 20% … it has to be strategy

Mindset without strategy creates motion.
Strategy without mindset creates friction.
You need both … or you stay stuck trying to add extra pieces into a picture that doesn’t exist

So … what’s the best way to learn strategy?
From someone who’s already done what you’re trying to do.

Someone showed you how to build puzzles.
You learned the strategy

& you definitely didn’t start with 2,000 pieces of abstract art!
Seriously … imagine starting with something like this …

How long would you last if this was the 1st puzzle you ever tried …
& had no one help you with strategy?
Be honest.

Even with expert help, starting here is crazy intimidating.

You started small
You learned to apply the strategy
Then worked your way up to more complicated images

This isn’t a game. It’s your livelihood.

This is your business.
& when it feels messy, overwhelming, or harder than it should be...

It’s not because you’re missing pieces.
You do already have all the pieces you need, right now, to get started.

You just need help turning them right-side up & seeing the picture they belong to.

Just like Nikki.
& just like I did.

Once Nikki could see her pieces clearly & the image on the box … everything shifted
Today, she’s already given her boss the heads up that she's quitting.
Her 9-5 days are numbered

& she’s graduated her dreams…
What was once the winter escape is going to be her full-time oasis in 2026

& none of that started with doing more
It actually started with getting clear & doing less.

Same pieces.
New clarity.
Completely different outcome.

If your business feels harder than it should …
& you’re surrounded by pieces you’re not sure how to fit together

You don’t need another program.
You don’t need more pieces.

You need to know three things:
→ what you’ve already got to work with
→ how it fits together to build your business
→ & what you can safely ignore

I wish someone had told me this before I wasted years (& a stupid amount of $$) adding pieces I didn’t need.

If your business feels scattered, flipped upside down, or mixed with pieces that don’t seem to fit, let’s fix that together.

Because once you can actually see the picture on the box & the pieces, you can (literally see how they all fit.
& did I mention you’re not getting charged for it?

Make it a great week!

Why AI Isn’t Replacing Affiliate Marketing After All

ā€œAI will make affiliate marketing irrelevant.ā€

Our research shows the opposite.

Shoppers use AI to explore options, but they trust creators, communities, and reviews before buying. With less than 10 percent clicking AI links, affiliate content now shapes both conversions and AI recommendations.
