Alex Hormozi didn’t just break a book-sales record over the weekend.

He broke the internet.
It’s legit been Hormozi’d

Marketers especially can’t stop talking about it.
(including me, obviously!)

Half the crowd is cheering
The other half? Sneering

I’m not sure what surprises me more …
the record (& everything that went into getting it)
or the haters

The green-eyed monster is rearing it’s ugly head.

People complaining about having to ā€œdonate booksā€ to get the bonuses
or that Alex ā€œstoleā€ the webinar format (he actually paid the creator to consult
or that there’s nothing new … they’ve seen it all before

Here’s the thing…

Alex Hormozi didn’t invent anything new.

& he doesn’t know ā€œeverythingā€ about marketing.
(on his book launch live stream, he asked others to answer questions for specific industries because they knew more) …
He still broke book-sales records

Has everything he’s done worked perfectly (or at all) the first time (or 10th time)?
Nope

He studied, applied, & is now sharing it with us.

That’s what compressed his timelines.
& it’s why his results got so big so fast.

While there may be nothing ā€œnewā€ in his training (or anyone else’s)

There’s always an opportunity learn something & get faster wins.

& that’s the thing:
